Cleaning Your Driveway Efficiently

Lots of us have driveways that have become dirty and grimy over the years. It's easy to get rid of the leaves and pine needles with a broom or a leaf blower, but neither of these will help with the ugly dirt that can become embedded into the surface.

I've heard of people that have scrubbed this out by hand and it sounds like a nightmare of a job that would mean heavy manual labor for at least a day! Unless you have a flock of kids to excitedly do the work for you, there's a better solution. With a pressure washer, you should be able to make short work of the dirt in an hour or so with minimal physical labor.

These amazing machines work by compressing water and shooting it out at very fast rates which are enough to dislodge the dirt that has been embedded into your sidewalk or driveway for years! Just squeeze the trigger and water will blast away years of built up dirt. They are easy to use, and typically need to be hooked up to a water hose, and also either plugged in or filled with gas.

Anyone can use one but it's a good idea to use eye protection and perhaps earplugs as well because they can be loud. This is a very efficient way to clean areas that would be virtually impossible or at least impractical to do by hand. If you don't want to own it, you can easily rent a pressure washer for a weekend for a minimal cost.
